PADDLE FOR EXPERIENCED MEMBERS ONLY.

This is the last fitness paddle before WDN.

Meet up at 8am for 8:30 on the water probably finish around 2-3pm BYO lunch, morning tea snacks and water.

Must have a sea kayak or similar and be experienced in wet rescue.

Start point McCarrs Creek Reserve Paddle to Great Mackerel Beach18-20km.

WDN DISTANCE RUN - CLONTARF TO QUARANTINE S RETURN

i will firm up details in due course but overall the details are pretty much set out below.

Paddle from Clontarf beach to  Quarantine station beach.

This paddle will require us to cross the ferry channel at Manly.

Therefore paddlers must be confident in swell and boatwash be capable of wet exits and T rescue technique. 

This is not just a pleasure paddle it’s role is to train  for WDN.  

A sea kayak is required.
