Sea Kayaking

A great day out on the open ocean today. After some interesting beach landings and practice drills at the nudist beach we headed out the heads and paddled off and up the coast for 10 kms. With the swell heading NW and the wind heading South, it made for a fun but challenging paddle from Botany to Long bay and back. Big thanks to Andy for getting us there and back safely and a special thanks to Roddy who kindly volunteered to exit his kayak a kilometer off shore so we could practice our T rescues and group management. 20 kms of bouncy, sun kissed fun!

Congrats to everyone involved today, a big step forward in our paddling journey.
