Head downstream on the Cooks to Botany Bay then pull into Brighton Beach Cafe for brunch before making the return journey.  Approximatley 11km round trip.

Flatwater Paddle - Peach Tree Bay


Meeting at River Canoe Club at 9am to pack boats


Launching at Roseville Bridge at 10:30am


Paddle aprox 7km to Plonk Cafe for a bite to eat


Paddle back finishing around 1:30pm


Required skills: some experience paddling in wind, wet exits & self rescue. Not suitable for complete beginners.

Murray River Training - Nepean Gorge


This will be a fitness paddle up the Nepean Gorge - maximum distance will be about 30kms, but it will be done as as a four hour omlette trip - two hours up - two hours down

This will be a 4 hour paddle up the Woronora river from Kogarah Bay - max distance is 34 kms - timed to coincide with the tidal flow

distance 13km


A 4 hour paddle beach hopping our way between  gunyah beach and fishermans beach and a break for morning tea or an early lunch back at gunyah before we head back.

Wolli Creek Crest to Creek - sponsored by Canterbury Bankstown Council


Paddle up Wlli Creek and experience the beautiful Wolli Regional Park from a water view. Pull in at Turrella Reserve and take a walk up Nanny Goat Hill and then return by kayak. Suitable for beginners who have paddled once or twice before - some instruction will be given.

Wolli Creek Crest to Creek


Join the Wolli Creek Preservation Society and River Canoe Club our popular 4 hour Creek to Crest kayak tour.


Paddle up Wolli Creek to Turrella Reserve where you will leave your


kayak and walk through Wolli Regional Park to Nannygoat Hill. Along the way hear stories of local history and learn about the fishway and Grey Headed Flying Fox camp.

Beginner Level


Kayak up Wolli Creek  to alight at Turrella Reserve for a walk around the park and up Nanny Goat Hill. Then back in the kayaks to paddle back to the club house for lunch and a chat.
