Description:
flatwater paddle on the Narrabeen lakes for Saturday 16th September

It's suitable for those new members who've done Rob Walkers three stage beginners course or have paddled with a member who can vouch for them.

You will need your own boat or rent a club boat and transport it yourself.

We shall plan to be on the water at 8:30 and it takes about 3 hours all in but we can be lazy and take snacks or even lunch. It's about 12k, the surrounding hills provide shelter and the water is usually calm and accessible. The lakes sit on the edge of Garigal National park and there are detours to be had into Deep Creek and Middle Creek. This area is also popular with hikers and mountain bikers.
