BUNDEENA WEEKENDER (March 3-4, 2018)
Pack your tent and off we go.  Leaving Swallow Rock (Grays Point) on Saturday afternoon we will head downstream with the tide on the beautiful Hacking River to Bonnie Vale (Bundeena) where we'll set up camp for the night.
Dinner at the nearby RSL or cook onsite if you like. BYO breakfast for the morning.
Head upstream Sunday morning, again with the tide, arriving back at Grays Point by lunchtime.
A great weekend away without having to leave Sydney.
Bonnie Vale is a very popular campsite and bookings are required well in advance.    $18 per person will secure your spot.
You will need your own kayak for this event, or you can rent a club kayak.
The Hacking can get busy, so there is boat wake to contend with and some narrow channels. Distance is about 9km each way. If you have completed the beginners program or one of Andy's Coffee Runs then you should be fine - if you are not sure then just ask.
Get in now for campsite bookings.
