Description:

Hi All,

I’m planning for a little whitewater this weekend.  The weather will be fine and sunny, chilly at night but around 19 degrees in the day. The water levels are reasonable, not too low and not crazy high.

Great for intermediates and even confident novices. (that means you’ve been on at least one or two whitewater beginner weekends)

Yes you guessed it. The Barrington.  http://www.waterwaysguide.org.au/map/6436  Current level is 0.56

About 3 1/2 hours drive from Sydney and camp at the Reserve (next to the Barrington Bridge) about $5 the last time i camped there.  Saturday night Pizza is only about 10 kms to Gloucester.

Could even arrive Saturday morning for a trip start at 10.00am.  We could easily fit in a run from Binderra to the Cove or maybe the Crossing. Once on Saturday and possibly the Cobar Section on Sunday or a repeat of the Binderra Section for good measure.

Please reply ASAP if you’re interested.  We need at least two vehicles (for shuttles), but I’ll be leaving from Roseville Chase and happy to offer a lift to one person.

Hope to hear from others who are desperate in need of a paddle.
